No off-road experience? You do not need any for our regular tours. You must, however, have held your motorcycle licence for at least one year. Expert routes have different experience requirements; talk to us beforehand to find the right tour for you.

Packing list for your motorcycle tour in Morocco
A great motorcycle trip starts with the right equipment. Use this checklist to make sure you have everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride through Morocco.
1. Documents & Insurance

Motorcycle licence: Essential. You cannot take part in the tour without a valid motorcycle licence.

Travel insurance: Good travel insurance is essential. Arrange your own policy well before departure and check with your insurer that it covers your planned motorcycle riding in Morocco.
2. Riding Gear

Helmet & Communication: A helmet is included at no extra charge, but availability and the right size are not guaranteed. Check with us beforehand. For tours, we strongly recommend bringing your own well-fitting helmet and motorcycle clothing. Do you have a Cardo communication system? Bring it along! We also use Cardo, making it easy to stay in touch while riding.

Motorcycle clothing: Dress for the season. Morocco can be very hot, but surprisingly cool at certain times of year. Tip: check the latest weather forecast for the Nador region shortly before departure.

Motorcycle footwear: Choose sturdy footwear that protects at least your ankles. Motorcycle boots offer the best protection, although ventilated models may be more comfortable on hot days.
3. Personal Essentials & Clothing

Swimwear & towel: Bring swimwear and a towel for our trips to the beautiful beaches around Nador.

Casual clothing: After riding, it is time to relax. Bring enough T-shirts and comfortable trousers for your time out of the saddle.

Sunscreen: Do not underestimate the Moroccan sun. The breeze while riding can make it easy to miss how quickly your neck and face are getting sunburnt. Always apply plenty of sunscreen before setting off.
4. Extras

Action camera: Have a GoPro or another action camera? Bring it along! The routes are spectacular, and you will want to share the footage with friends and family back home.

From flights and accommodation to motorcycle rental: find out below how to prepare for your trip. We agree the final programme and arrangements with you personally.
Flights to Nador, Morocco
Flights are not included in the price of our motorcycle tours. Plan your arrival in Nador and check with us before booking that your travel dates and arrival and departure times fit the programme.
To compare travel options to Nador from your departure airport, consult Google Flights and airline websites. Check available routes, any connections, schedules and fares directly with the carriers for your chosen travel dates.
Depending on your arrival arrangements, we will discuss in advance whether we can collect you or whether you need to arrange your own transport to our base. No transfer is guaranteed. We confirm any additional costs before you book. Arrival and departure times may also be less convenient for the programme. It is therefore important to always speak to us before booking a flight, so we can advise whether your chosen flight is practical and suitable.
A motorcycle tour with friends at Moto-Wings
Our motorcycle tours are ideal for groups of friends, colleagues or acquaintances. You can also sign up individually, but please bear in mind that you will ride with other participants and share a room.
Prefer your own accommodation? You can book a nearby hotel or Airbnb yourself. In that case, we deduct the cost of our accommodation from the total tour price.
Moto-Wings accommodation
Our base is just outside the small town of Tiztoutine, about 20 minutes by road from Nador Airport. For groups of up to 6 people, we have a comfortable Airbnb nearby where you can stay together. Would you prefer to book a different Airbnb or hotel yourself? You are welcome to do so, and we are happy to offer advice and help where needed. In that case, the cost of our accommodation is deducted from the total price.

Motorcycle rental information
The security deposit is €1,000 for motorcycle rental without a tour and €600 when you join a tour on one of our rental motorcycles. These amounts apply regardless of your age. The deposit is returned at the end of the tour. If the motorcycle is damaged during the tour, the cost is deducted from the deposit. You must also have held your motorcycle licence for at least 1 year to take part in our tours. No off-road experience is required.
Our standard multi-day packages with a rental motorcycle include motorcycle rental, a guide, accommodation, breakfast and dinner. Lunch, flights and your own travel insurance are not included. For day tours, tailor-made trips and participation on your own motorcycle, we confirm the inclusions separately. Tailor-made trips are available for groups of three or more participants, including Merzouga. Programme days are not automatically full riding days: the calendar shows the travel period; we agree arrival, departure and overnight stays before you book.
What do you need to know before departure?
Everyone with a passion for motorcycling is welcome! You do not need off-road experience to enjoy Morocco’s landscapes. However, you must have held your motorcycle licence for at least one year.
